Fernando Matos is the Co-Founder & Partner of Closer, a company with the mission statement – to challenge complexity. With over 300 employees, Closer has earned international recognition for innovative projects under Fernando’s leadership. He also serves as President of the Data Science Portuguese Association (DSPA). Fernando holds a degree in Computer Science and Business Management from ISCTE. With over 25 years of IT experience, his expertise spans Management Information, Advanced Analytics, Business Intelligence, AI, Software Development, Mobility and Cloud Computing. Passionate about sports, music, cinema, and travel, Fernando is also actively engaged in social projects.
