Began his career in the IT industry with a professional training course. He has held every position in the IT sector, from sales to technical. He was a project manager in Telecom Italia, then in Banco di Roma and Finmeccanica. As a Sales Director in several companies, he covered the telecommunications, finance/insurance, public administration and state-owned enterprise sectors. In 2001, he co-founded Moon srl, an IT company. Then in 2003, he founded Medit Srl, which later became Topnetwork Spa. He has served as CEO of the company since its foundation. He currently sits on its Board of Directors.
