Co-founder of Solent in 2003 alongside Antoine Mauferon, Philippe Benon has played a key role in the development of the company’s embedded systems and IT activities while also managing HR, administrative, legal, and financial operations. A graduate of SupAéro, he spent a year in the technical services of the DGA before joining Sextant Avionique (now Thales Avionics). From 1990 to 2000, he held various positions on both civil and military aircraft, notably as head of guidance applications for the Rafale (Dassault Aviation) and head of navigation systems activities for the Airbus A320 family (in collaboration with Smiths Industries).
